JAKARTA Rocket Lab, a private space company from New Zealand, successfully launched its 54th Electron mission on November 5. Through this mission, Rocket Lab deployed a satellite from a secret customer.
This latest launch mission is named Changes in Attitudes, Changes in Latitudes. At around 11.54 pm New Zealand time, the Electronic rocket took off from Rocket Lab's Complex 1 launch area in Mahia.
Although it did not explain who its commercial customers were, the company revealed that this launch was the fastest mission after signing the contract. Rocket Lab just signed a launch agreement less than three months ago.
Historically, Rocket Lab has always launched satellites or payloads within years of signing the contract. With the success of this launch, Rocket Lab wants to show that their rockets can be relied on for a fast launch target.

"(This is) another successful launch showing all the best attributes from the Rocket Lab and Electronic teams: efficient processes from contract to orbit, exact deployment accuracy, and responsive services that are tailored to customer needs," said Rocket Lab CEO Sir Peter Beck, via his official website.
According to Beck, this fast launch system can be done because Electron has been standardized. They also have a responsive launch location, a stable launch system, to experienced workers in their fields.
"I'm proud of the team that has launched after launch as we continue to set records this year across launch and space systems," Beck said.
