Google Services Have Been Down Three Times In Early 2021

JAKARTA - Google services have reportedly crashed or down. Many netizens can't access Google services, such as Gmail, Google Meet, and YouTube.

Although it has gradually recovered. Downdetector recorded more than 300 reports saying Google's service was problematic.

It is recorded that users started reporting Google was down around 10:03 a.m. and reached its peak at 10:29 a.m. Although it was gradually recovering, but not a few users who say access to Google services were slow.

Many users have complained about not being able to use Gmail and other Google products. Some of them experience Google Search that is slow to load, some call video playback on YouTube suddenly buffering.

Indihome's official Twitter account also confirms that there has been a disruption of Google's services for some time.

The collapse of Google services had the most impact in Jakarta and Surabaya, then Yogyakarta, all the way to Singapore and Japan. There is no official explanation as to why Google crashed.

But if calculated, this is the third time Google has collapsed in 2021. The previous incidents occurred on January 6 and February 4, 2021.

At that time Google services were down and users could not access Google Meet, Drive, and some other Google services. For the record, Google is down 5 times throughout 2020.
