Hino Launches The FLX Ranger Truck That Complies With ODOL Policy

JAKARTA - The government is aggressively taking action against trucks that are overloaded or Over Dimension Over Loading (ODOL). Responding to this policy, PT. Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) launched a new, medium-duty Hino Ranger FLX 260 JW (8×2) truck which has been adjusted to government regulations.

The Hino Ranger FLX 260 JW 8x2 truck has an extra-long body of up to 9.7 meters so that it is able to carry the maximum load more stable and stronger because the load distribution is more evenly distributed. With four axles, this truck is a solution for business people to maximize profits while still compliant with Over Dimension Over Loading (ODOL) regulations.

The Hino Ranger FLX 260 JW (8x2) is intended for the logistics or cargo market because it is claimed to increase operational cost efficiency with a larger volume and load capacity so that delivery of goods can be maximized with one shipment.

This truck has a length of 11,950 mm with a wheelbase of 1,850 + 3,880 + 1,350 millimeters and a GVW of 32 tons. The Hino Ranger FLX 260 JW (8x2) is equipped with a Full Air Brake System so that the vehicle can brake optimally.

The rear camera will help the driver see conditions at the back of the vehicle so that it is safer when parking or retreating and Side under mirrors to help see in unreachable parts or blind spots.

For drivers, to reduce fatigue while driving, the Hino Ranger FLX 260 JW (8x2) has been equipped with Seat Air Suspension, which is an air suspension driver seat that enhances the comfort of the rider.

HMSI also launched a new big bus, the Hino Bus (Air Suspension). This bus is equipped with an engine that is claimed to be tough, capable of producing 260 PS of power and 76 kgm/1,500-rpm torque which is streamed through a 6-speed transmission.

The main advantage of this bus lies in the suspension system that already uses Wide air suspension to answer consumer needs for comfortable transportation for passengers and especially for long distances.

With the air suspension pinned on the Hino Bus R 260 AS also produces better vibration damping because it uses air as its fluid, thereby reducing noise and vibration and increasing comfort during the trip.
