JAKARTA - Google has launched Gemini extensions to Google Calendar, Keep, and Tasks, allowing users to add and edit calendar events, create notes, and add assignments and reminders. This extension is now more widely available after previously being limited to Pixel 9 devices.

With this extension, users who subscribe to Google Workspace with add-on Gemini can access new features. Users can create events on Google Calendar, find events based on date or event details, and edit or cancel events via Gemini chatbots.

The Tasks extension allows users to add reminders and assignments, view a list of tasks, and update them. In Google Keep, users can create notes and lists, add items to the existing list, and search for content from the records that have been created.

This extension can be enabled by selecting profiles in the top right corner of the Gemini app, selecting "Extensions," and connecting Google Workspace accounts. Apart from Calendar, Keep, and Tasks, Gemini's extension also includes Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Drive, although it is currently still in the open beta version.

While Gemini has received various extensions that improve its capabilities, features such as phone calls and replying to messages from Google Assistant's key screen are not yet available at Gemini, but may be present in the future.
