JAKARTA - Google for Startups launched AI Academy APAC, the first program to support 23 startup companies with a focus on AI-based technology development in Asia Pacific.
"We are excited to start the first AI Academy by Google at APAC," Michael Kim, Head of Google for Startups, APAC said in Google's official blog quoted Friday, October 18.
Of the 23 startups who joined the program, Google announced that two of them were startups from Indonesia, namely Kuassar and Paperless Hospital.
The quasar is currently developing an AI-made influencer platform, designed to reach the Southeast Asian market, which will provide personalized recommendations for businesses, enabling brands to target their audience more effectively and provide wider opportunities for influencers and creators.
Meanwhile, Paperless Hospital is a startup that encourages digital transformation in the health sector, by developing solutions that can streamline administrative work for medical personnel using AI.
