Prabowo's State of the Nation Address, Polda Metro Siapkan Pengalihan Arus di Senayan

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Police has prepared a scheme for situational traffic diversion around the Parliament Complex of the DPR/MPR RI Building, Senayan, Central Jakarta, to anticipate congestion during the State of the Nation Address agenda delivered by President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, Friday, August 14.

Deputy Director of Traffic (Wadirlantas) of the Metro Jaya Police AKBP Arif Fazlurrahman appealed to the public to anticipate the potential for vehicle congestion in the area since the morning.

"We appeal to road users to anticipate the potential for traffic congestion around the Senayan area. The agenda for the President's State of the Nation Address is scheduled to take place from 08.00 WIB until it is completed," said Arif, quoted by Antara.

Arif explained that the implementation of engineering and traffic diversion around Senayan was situational, adjusting to the volume of vehicles and dynamics in the field.

In order to keep the mobility of residents running smoothly, the police asked road users to arrange departure times and use alternative routes.

"We ask road users to reschedule their travel time, use alternative routes, and most importantly, comply with our officers' instructions in the field for safety and smooth sailing together," said Arif.

He also emphasized the importance of driving safety and compliance with traffic rules applicable to all road users.

To make it easier for the public to plan their trips, the Polda Metro Jaya provides periodic updates on traffic conditions through the official social media channel of the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Police.

The General Secretariat (Setjen) of the MPR RI ensures that all the preparations leading up to the implementation of the MPR RI Annual Session as well as the Joint Session of the DPR RI and the DPD RI in 2026, which will be held on Friday, have been mature, coordinated, and optimal.

Deputy for Administration of the MPR RI Secretariat, Heri Herawan, revealed that the implementation of this year's Annual Meeting in the context of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia emphasizes synergy and close collaboration between state institutions.

"For the Annual Session of the MPR RI and the Joint Session of the DPR RI and the DPD RI in 2026, all elements of the working unit in the MPR RI General Secretariat have carried out preparations thoroughly," said Heri.
