JAKARTA Coursera, a global online learning platform, presents the latest learning solution based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Indonesia. This solution can provide a more interactive learning experience.

There are three AI-based learning features that Coursera introduces, namely Coach for Learning Assistance, Coach for Career Guidance, and Coach for Interactive Instruction. This feature is open to students and teachers who want to build skills.

Course for Learning is a program released to overcome the challenge of learning between students and teachers in Indonesia. In this program, teachers can access virtual assistants who offer feedback, answers, and summary of Indonesian-language videos.

Unlike Coach for Learning, Coach for Career Guidance was created to help students who want to explore career paths and identify the skills needed. Through this program, students can get learning recommendations.

Meanwhile, Coach for Interactive Instruction is a virtual assistant who was presented to assist instructors in determining teaching styles and assessment criteria. This feature is supported by Google's big language model (LLM), Gemini.

Raghav Gupta, Managing Director of Coursera Asia Pacific, explained that Indonesian-language content has been increased in the past year. Previously, Indonesian-language content in Coursera was only 2,000, but now it has increased to 4,700.

Raghav also announced the latest partnership with Pre-Employment to assist the government in preparing more workers in the digitalization era. Not only partnering with Pre-Employment, Coursera also partners with companies such as BNI, BCA, Indonesia Cyber Education (ICE), and much more.

"The efforts of the Indonesian government to prepare workers who are ready to expect the digital era to inspire us and in line with this, Coursera is committed to becoming the main partner to achieve this goal," said Raghav.

On the other hand, the Executive Director of Pre-Employment, Denni Puspa Purbasari, revealed that the training media is very much needed to support people who want to improve their skills. To bring the best quality of training, Prakerja decided to partner with Coursera.

"This is an endless mission for Prakerja because (the community) skills will continue to grow. I believe, through collaboration, we can overcome these challenges and together build a more inclusive future," said Denni.
