The technology developed by the Cambridge Medical Robotics Surgical (CMR Surgical) company and distributed by PT Surgika Alkesindo is claimed to be able to improve operating results by minimizing tissue damage in the stomach, increasing patient comfort, and accelerating healing.

This fact is evidenced in a health journal published in Pubmed in 2023, which says that surgery or hernia surgery using the Modular Robotic Surgery Version is safe and feasible.
