JAKARTA Former US President Donald Trump, who is now a presidential candidate from the Republican Party, stated on Friday 27 September that he would seek prosecution of Google if he won the presidential election on 5 November. Trump alleges that the company only featured "bad news" about him without providing evidence of his claims.
In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump claims that Google illegally uses a system that only displays bad news about him, some even make up. While at the same time only featured good news about the Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris.
"This is illegal activity, and I hope the Justice Department will criminally prosecute them for their blatant interference in this election," Trump said. "If not, in accordance with our state law, I will ask for their prosecution with a maximum sentence when I win the election and become president of the United States."
