Developers Can Now Access Discord Activities To Develop Games

JAKARTA Discord believes that the right tools support for developers can give birth to more games. Therefore, the communication platform released a new ecosystem called Discord Activities.

With the release of Discord Activities, developers can create games, provide new musical experiences, or create other interactive activities. All of this can be made thanks to the Embedd App SDK, a collection of tools and programs to integrate applications.

Embeddd App SDK can build, launch, and distribute all applications natively on Discord. In addition, developers can also monetize the applications they develop.

Currently, Discord users have reached 200 million and more than 90 percent of that number is active every month. Of these, the total use of Discord to play games in the app has reached 1.5 billion hours.

With this data, Discord is enthusiastic about building an Embedd App SDK. This tool was released in a preview version at the beginning of the year and became very popular when it was first launched. Tens of thousands of developers have used this tool to develop their ideas.
