JAKARTA YouTube Music has a radio conversation feature created based on an order from Artificial Intelligence (AI). Previously, this feature was referred to as Radio AI, but now there is an official name, namely Ask Music.

When tested for the first time last July, this feature does not have a clear name. The feature card also only explains the function of the radio. However, in recent weeks, YouTube Music has displayed its features with a clearer name.

In fact, when some new users open their YouTube Music app, pop-ups that read Ask Music's Introduction will appear and at the bottom there is a caption that reads, "Any idea changes to a special radio."

It seems, Ask Music is integrated with Gemini to process the ideas its users make. The reason is, when the introductory pop-up appears, there is a Gemini logo visible. This icon looks very bright and placed next to the word Introducing.

After Ask Music's introductory pop-up disappears, users will see a purple card with the Make Radio icon in the left corner. If the card is tapped, the interface from the chat room will appear and users can enter the desired various commands.

There are some types of radio that are recommended, namely indie in the 1980s, beautiful synthpop, sadest songs, 2010s indie pop, and much more. If users don't know what radio they want to make, they can click the recommended button Kejutan Saya!

This button will make any radio that users may like. Once the command is entered, Ask Music will process the command, then display a playlist that can be played directly or saved if the user is interested in the added song.

So far, new Ask Music features have been seen in the US, Canada, and Australia in English. This feature was found on Android and iOS devices. It is not yet known when this feature will be expanded to more countries, including Indonesia.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
