JAKARTA - On September 7, Elon Musk denied reports that his artificial intelligence startup (AI), xAI, had held talks on Tesla's future revenue sharing.

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Tesla will reportedly license the AI xAI model to strengthen driver assistance software and "full self-driving" (FSD) technology, as well as share some of the revenue with xAI.

Musk through his social media platform, X, said the report was inaccurate. He added that Tesla has learned a lot from discussions with xAI engineers, helping accelerate the development of FSD without the need to license any technology from xAI.

The report also states that xAI will help develop other features for Tesla, including voice and software assistants for Tesla's humanoid robot, Optimus. However, Musk insists there is no necessary licensing agreement between the two companies.

XAI was launched by Musk last year to compete with Microsoft-backed OpenAI, and has raised concerns that some Tesla resources may be allocated to the AI company.
