Kominfo Will Conduct Dialogue With Stakeholders Regarding The Demands Of Ojol Drivers

JAKARTA - Commenting on the online motorcycle taxi demonstration which took place on Thursday, August 29 yesterday, Director General of Post and Information Administration Wayan Toni Supriyanto said that Kominfo had met with several ojol representatives.

Wayan, who accompanied the Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatics Angga Raka Prabowo at the meeting, said that Kominfo was committed to listening to the aspirations of ojol partners.

"The point is that the Deputy Minister listened to the complaints and seriously considered the aspirations of the representatives who were ojol yesterday," Wayan said at the Ngopi Bareng Kominfo event on Friday, August 30.

In addition, Kominfo will coordinate with related Ministries/Institutions, local governments (Pemda), and online motorcycle taxi application providers, to find solutions to these problems.

"So if I answer it will be like this, it will be like that, not necessarily the same, not necessarily because of its relationship with other Ministries / Agencies. I repeat that in principle, Kominfo will build communication in coordination with related Ministries / Agencies, local governments as well as their applicators to find the best solution, "concluded Wayan.
