JAKARTA - Google Meet will launch a new tool called take a note for me, and will begin rolling out for select Google Workspace subscribers.

Google says that Take notes for me is an AI-powered feature on Google Meet that will automatically record a meeting summary, so you can focus on discussions, collaborations, and presentations during meetings.

"This will help you be more present and involved during the meeting, while ensuring important information is recorded for recording and follow-up," Google wrote in its announcement.

After the meeting, the notes document will be directly attached to the calendar event where your organization's internal participants can access it.

The Notes document will be saved in the meeting owner's drive folder and will follow the configured Meet storage policy by your organization.

If the user also activates the recording and transcript of the meeting, the recording and transcript will be linked in a note document.

Google Workspace customers with add-on Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Education Premium, and AI Meetings & Messaging will be the first to have access to this recording feature.

At the launch, this feature will be available when using Google Meet on a computer or laptop, and meetings must be held in verbal English.
