Galaxy Watch Allows Users To Disable Daily Activity Notifications

JAKARTA - Samsung appears to be listening to complaints from Galaxy Watch 7 users Ultra, and other old devices running beta software regarding the notification of daily activity that is too aggressive. In the latest beta version, Samsung has added an option to disable this notification, a feature that is expected to be coming soon in a stable version of the software.

Galaxy Watch, like most other modern smartwatches, is equipped with an activity notification system to encourage users to stay active. However, users report that this notification often appears at unusual hours, such as when they were still sleeping in the morning. Initially, users did not have the option to turn off this notification, causing discomfort.

A Reddit user with the name Enjinr reports that the latest beta update, code XH4, has introduced a toggle or switch to turn off this daily activity notification. This update appears to be still limited to old devices running One UI 6 beta.

For now, Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra users who have been sent with One UI 6 will have to wait for further updates to be able to enjoy this new feature. It is hoped that this update will be available in the next few weeks.
