JAKARTA - The stable version of Android 15 is expected to arrive later this year. Although this update is highly anticipated with major changes, new features, and upgrades, Android 15 will also be the last update for some Motorola phones.

Like previous years, many Android devices will stop receiving OS updates after reaching the end of the promised update cycle. This year, some Motorola models will no longer receive OS updates after Android 15.

Here's a list of Motorola phones that will receive the latest update Android 15:

Motorola typically offers three Android updates to Edge and Razr models launched in 2023 or beyond, while older models only receive two updates. Bag-friendly Moto G series usually get two OS updates, while the entry-level series E only gets one update.

For the Motorola phones that support Android 15, stable updates are expected to start rolling out later this year or early next year. However, Motorola has a poor history in terms of rolling out software updates, so it is likely that the Android 15 launch will slow down.
