Avanade Officially Appoints Rodrigo Candidates As New CEO Of The Company

JAKARTA - Avanade, the leading Microsoft solution provider, announced the appointment of Rodrigo Casandara as the company's new CEO, replacing Pamela Maynard, who will leave her post at the end of August this year.

While the participation will be effective from September 1, 2024, Pamela Maynard will join Microsoft as Chief AI Transformation Officer for Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS).

"With expertise in companies and the medium market, as well as an in-depth understanding of our client's commitment to our employees, he (Casetra) is the right person to lead Avanade as we expand our market share," Karthik Narain, Board Chair Avanade and Group Chief Executive, Accenture Technology said in a statement on Monday, August 19.

The participants, who currently serve as the Global Technology Business Group Lead on Avanade, have a lot of experience and track record of proven success will further advance Avanade's leading position in the Microsoft Service sector.

Since joining Avanade nearly a decade ago, he has shown extraordinary leadership and a deep commitment to growing a culture that prioritizes employees and focuses on clients.

As General Manager in Brazil and then President of Growth Markets, the Candidates lead significant growth both in revenue and in the number of employees across the Avanade region in Asia Pacific and Latin America, which consistently exceeds the market. Coming from Brazil, he recently moved from Singapore to the United States with his family.
