JAKARTA - The General Chairman of the Nahdlatul Ulama General Board (PBNU) Yahya Cholil Staquf confirmed that the 35th NU Congress is ready to be held at Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum, Tambakberas, Jombang, East Java on August 27-31, 2026.

He emphasized that the material prepared for discussion at the congress concerns the interests of the nation and the welfare of humanity as a whole, including the concept of the NU's 25-year roadmap in the future and the values of theocracy.
