New York Police Will Use Drones To Overcome Crime

JAKARTA New York continues to deliver advanced technologies to improve public security. After using the K5 security robot at the end of last year, the city plans to use drones. Based on the DroneDJ report, Central Park, which is an iiconic park in New York, experienced a drastic increase in crime. The New York Police Department (NYPD) wants to address this issue, but by using drones. On the mayor's proposal, Eric Adams, the police will fly drones in the Central Park area to monitor its visitor activities. This drone will prevent sex crimes, assaults, and robbery attempts. In a press conference held recently, Adams said that Central Park is difficult to monitor because of its vast territory. Therefore, Adams suggested the use of drones that are considered more efficient in reducing crime. "With such a vast area, we can do better work by using drones to monitor (the Central Park park park park) from the air," Adams said. After being touched on by Adams, Adams confirmed that they would use drones in the area. Before officially operating, the police will carry out tests to see if drones are able to respond to detection warnings.

They did not specify how long these surveillance drones would be tested and what company drones they would use. Many visitors are concerned about their privacy as drones will closely monitor the area. According to some visitors, not all areas can be monitored by drones so they prefer walking police.
