JAKARTA Apple presents a new customization option on iOS 18, which is currently in beta, with the ability to hide app names on your iPhone's main screen. This feature allows users to create larger icons and widgets by removing the app's name tag.
With this setting enabled, app names will be removed from the main screen grid, thereby increasing the size of icons and widgets with available space. Although the icon size becomes larger, you will still see a maximum of six rows of icons with four icons on each row, just like when the icon name is enabled.
If you are familiar enough with your favorite app and feel you don't need to see the names under the icon, this feature is worth a try. By deleting the label, the design of the app icon will stand out more, providing a cleaner main screen display. It should be noted that this setting is universal, so you can't have a small icon on one application page and a large icon on the other app page.
