Disney Launches Immersive Environment From National Geographic At Apple Vision Pro

JAKARTA On Monday, August 5, Disney+ launched a new immersive environment on the Apple Vision Pro. The appearance of Disney's immersive environment is the result of collaboration with National Geographic. For now, only one immersive environment Disney presents in its application, namely the view of the Thingvellir National Park in Iceland. Apple Vision Pro subscribers can enjoy a virtually snowy winter region. Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO heritage site, will bring an exciting experience as long as Vision Pro users watch content on Disney+ applications. Users will see a unique rocky field and aurora sightings at night. The immersive environment of National Geographic can be explored through various interactive elements. The hope is that this feature, which is the background of this content, will improve the user's viewing experience.

David Miller, EVP National Geographic, said that it is trying to be at the forefront of photography. Through the use of innovative technology, National Geographic can bring humans closer to nature. "Creating an immersive environment is the next natural step for us," Miller said. "(This feature was built) to make the audience feel the beauty of nature and see places they may never have visited before." So far, the Disney+ application on Vision Pro already has four appearances of an immersive environment. Apart from Thingvellir National Park in Iceland, there are also Disney Theaters, Avengers Towers, Sparse Floors, and Tattoooine.
