OPPO K12x 5G Military Version Launched, Equipped With 5100mAh Battery

JAKARTA - OPPO has launched K12x 5G in India, adding to the existing K series. This phone is equipped with MIL-STD-810H certification, which guarantees durability in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, and shocks. In addition, K12x 5G also has an IP54 rating for dust resistance and water splashes.

OPPO K12x 5G has a 6.67-inch LCD HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen has Amazon HD and Widevine L1 certification for HD streaming in the app. With peak brightness of up to 1000 nits, the screen still looks bright even outdoors. The screen is covered by two strengthened Panda glass layers.

At the top of the screen, there is a 8-megapixel camera. The sound hole is located at the top of the edge. Slash Touch technology from OPPO ensures that the screen remains functioning even when used with wet hands. This phone has a slightly thicker bezel below the screen, which is common on mobile phones in budget class.

Supported by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, this phone has LPDDR4x to 8GB RAM virtual to 8GB and UFS 2.2 to 256GB storage. K12x 5G runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14 and will receive two OS updates as well as three years of security updates.

The phone is also equipped with an OPPO's Trinity Engine that seamlessly schedules computing resources and system memory for a smooth and lag-free operation for more than four years, according to the company.

The power and volume buttons of the rockers are on the right. Double hybrid SIM slots that receive a second SIM or microSD card that supports up to 1TB of expandable memory are on the left. Jack audio 3.5mm, main microphone, USB Type-C port, and speaker grip are at the bottom. This phone does not have a secondary microphone at the top.

This phone has a dual rear camera that includes a 32MP main camera and a 2MP secondary portrait sensor. Both front and rear cameras support 1080p video recording. Check out the following examples of camera results.

OPPO K12x 5G has 360° Damage-proof Armor Body with MIL-STD-810H certification which makes it very durable and resilient. This phone also offers an IP54 rating for dust resistance and water splash. K12x 5G is only 7.68mm thick and is available in Breeze Blue color.

This phone is equipped with 5100mAh battery with SuperVOOC 45W charging. This battery can retain more than 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charging cycles, equivalent to more than 4 years of use if charged once a day, according to the company.
