Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 And MIX First Flip Officially Released In China

JAKARTA Xiaomi launched the latest two foldable phones at the Lei Jun Annual Speech 2024 in China. One of its phones is Xiaomi's latest innovation.

Two devices that Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, announced on Friday, July 19, namely, the first MIX Fold 4 and MIX Flip made by Xiaomi. These two phones are claimed to use the latest industry standards by offering core innovations in architecture, hinges, and batteries.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 offers three major breakthroughs, one of which is the adoption of a full carbon architecture. Starting from floating hinge plates, screen support plates, to the center plate battery compartment printed from carbon fiber materials.

By implementing this design, the power and durability of the cellphone has increased. The weight of this device can also be reduced significantly. This latest generation foldable device has a folding thickness of 9.47 mm and a 5100mAh battery.

MIX Fold 4 uses the latest chipset from Snapdragon, which is 8 Gen 3. Thanks to this chipset, Xiaomi can add a cooling system of 11,912 square millimeters, 67W cable charging, 50W wireless charging, and using the Xiaomi HyperOS system.

This device is equipped with an optical quad-camera system from Leica. The main camera is 50MP and uses a Light Fusion 800 sensor. There is also an ultra-wide angle of 12MP with a 120-degree view field and a 50MP Leica telephoto lens.

Meanwhile, MIX Flip is a vertical foldable phone that uses a 4-inch All Around Liquid outer screen and can be used without the need to open the screen. For the main screen, this phone has a resolution of 1.5K, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits.

The latest foldable device model from Xiaomi also uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. MIX Flip offers 4780mAh battery capacity, the latest generation Summilux lens from Leica, and some camera features that can be found in the MIX Fold 4.
