JAKARTA Instagram added the amount of audio that can be put into Reels. Previously, content creators could only use one audio, but now the number has been added to 20 audio. This update was delivered via the platform-run Instagram creators account. Starting Tuesday, July 16, content creators on Reels can use more than one audio track if they edit their videos in the app. "Now you can add up to 20 songs to one (video) Reels and visually align audio with elements such as text, stickers, and clips as you edit in the app," Instagram wrote via the account. According to Instagram, this number of audio updates will provide flexibility to content creators. All content creators can express their creativity, "in a way that suits you and viewers."

When users enter more than one audio track into Reels, Instagram will label the 'Mix' audio. This label will show who the maker is and what songs the creator uses. Instagram also adds the Use Audio Mix button button at the bottom of the audio mix information. When clicked, users can directly edit Reels videos using audio mix from other users. To use this feature, users can click the Add to Mix button when editing videos. Once clicked, a more complete editing display will appear. Users can click the Add Audio menu and select the song they want to use.
