This Is Apple's New Product That Will Come In 2024

JAKARTA - Now entering mid-2024, but most of the Apple product launches this year are still coming. Summer tends to be a calm season for new products, but Apple is preparing for a major fall rollout starting September.

Here are some of the new products that will be launched by the company based in Cuppertino for the fall.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will offer a big improvement over last year's models. Here is the expected highlight:

Unlike Pro versions, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will have the same screen size as last year's models. However, they may receive the same A18 Pro chip as Pro and Pro Max models. Or maybe, for the first time, we'll see two new iPhone chips: A18 for the lower class model, and the A18 Pro in the upper class.

Another feature that is expected to be present in all models 16 is the hardware button for the camera feature, often called the 'catching button'. Expect other camera upgrades and new color options for 16 and 16 Plus, with the AI iOS 18 feature as the main attraction.

Apple plans to launch two levels of the AirPods 4 model. Both models will provide lower-priced versions and premiumr options, with AirPods 2 and 3 expected to be removed from Apple's lineup. Both AirPods 4 models will have an updated USB-C charging casing and stem design that looks like a combination of AirPods Pro and AirPods 3. Noise cancellation is said to be exclusive to higher models, as well as Find My support.

AirPods Max 2 will switch from Lightning to USB-C charging, and will likely get some features that are currently exclusive to AirPods Pro 2, such as Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, and Personalized Audio.

Apple will make a big improvement with the new Apple Watch Series 10, with two standard sizes both improved. Smaller watches will measure around the size of today's larger models, while larger options grow to match Ultra screen sizes.

Case devices will also be thinner, and will have stronger chips that could form the basis for future Apple Intelligence. Health sensors to detect hypertension and sleep apnea may also be present.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to at least match the new capabilities of the Series 10 model, including a faster chip that is more suitable for AI, and possibly a new health sensor. One of the possible attractions is the space black titanium option.

The iPad Pro has been Apple's only device with an M4 chip, but it will end soon. This fall, Apple is expected to send a new MacBook Pro model equipped with the M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max. Don't expect a massive redesign of the computer form factor, where the M4 is in the spotlight this year.

The iPad mini has not been updated since 2021, but it looks like the void is coming to an end. Following 2023 without the iPad, Apple is expected to update its entire iPad lineup this year, including mini. Expect an upgraded look without updated jelly scrolling and chips. Maybe the iPad mini will switch to the M class chip for compatibility with Apple Intelligence features.

To complete its mission to update the entire iPad lineup this year, Apple will also send a new basic iPad model. Not much is known about this new device, but expect a newer and stronger chip, maybe some Apple Pencil upgrades, but none of which is a massive redesign.

Mini Macs and iMacs are rumored to be getting the M4 chip either by the end of 2024 or early 2025. The public will see a new Mac mini along with the new MacBook Pro in 2024, and iMac will get its update in early 2025 alongside the new MacBook Air.

There are rumors about a new home device being worked on at Apple, possibly with a release date of 2024. One of them is an updated 4K Apple TV with a better chip, the other is a HomePod revision with an LCD screen on it.

Both updates are unlikely to make a big breakthrough, nor will it bring Apple Intelligence compatibility, but we have to wait and see what Apple is preparing.
