JAKARTA - The Cataclismo game from Digital Sun developers experienced a delay in its initial launch of access on PC via Steam, to July 22 from which it was due to be launched on July 16.

"We are excited to announce that Cataclismo, our RTS's siege defense, will be present at Steam Early Access on July 22, 2024," the developer wrote in a statement on the Steam community blog.

The game was originally planned for release a week earlier, however, this additional time will allow developers to be able to prepare everything for successful initial access launches.

"It's quite advanced in development, but it's also a complex game, and initial access is the perfect tool to ensure that its full release is as good as possible," he added.

This early version of access will feature tutorials and eleven levels, spread across two different biomes. Other levels will be added on the way to version 1.0.

In addition, there are combat modes with two different levels and bioma and endless modes without (endless mode) maps created taking into account various challenges.

The studio also confirmed that it would add more biomes, features and modes during the initial access period, including additional content for Endless's gaming mode and new levels for key campaigns.
