JAKARTA Apple's vintage product category now includes three new devices. Three devices that are thought to be old or old are the first generation iPhone X, AirPods, and the original HomePod. Apple explains that devices will be considered vintage or ancient if sales or distributions have been discontinued for more than five years and less than seven years. The iPhone X entered this line because it was launched in 2017. On its official website, Apple includes the iPhone X into the Product category of the Old iPhone worldwide. In the next few years, this device will be included in the list of devices that are already obsolete or not suitable for use. When it falls into the outdated category such as the iPhone 5 and 6 lineups, Apple will stop all its hardware services, moreover, its software updates are no longer available. The spare parts for this product are also not available.

Despite being included in the old-school category, the iPhone X can still be fixed by the service provider, but the fix will be adjusted to the availability of spare parts. Not far from the birth year of the iPhone X, the first generation AirPods are considered old-form because this device was launched in September 2016 along with the iPhone 7. This is the first AirPods to enter the old category ranks. Meanwhile, HomePod is a device that Apple shows off at the 2017 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) event, but the device was launched in 2018. This device deserves to be called old school because production has been discontinued in 2021.
