JAKARTA - Google will showcase artificial intelligence features and Pixel device updates as well as the Android platform at a special event to be held on August 13. This is known according to an invitation shared online by The Verge and technology commentator, Marques Brownlee.

The event will take place at Google's headquarters in Mountain View, and will begin with a keynote address at 10 am PT (5 pm GMT) which is followed by a "direct product experience", according to the invitation graph.

However, Alphabet itself has not yet responded to the report. Google usually launches new Pixel smartphones and watches in the fall.

Earlier this month, Apple's rivals announced a series of new AI-generative-based features that will come to their iPhones.
