JAKARTA Google launched a video search feature using Google Lens, an optical character recognition tool (OCR), on YouTube. With this feature, users can search for related videos from certain objects. Reporting from 9to5google, users will see Google Lens search features on the search page in full mode, precisely in the upper right corner of the screen. Google Lens icons will appear between search boxes and Hum to Search icons. When clicked, users will see Google Lens interfaces such as in the original application or in Google Search. This feature not only searches for relevant videos through the photofocated object, but also text highlighted from within the image. For example, when you are photographing the iPhone, the search tool will display a YouTube Search carousel at the bottom of the image. When clicked, the user will be directed directly to the relevant search results on YouTube. In addition to displaying a dedicated carousel for search results on YouTube, users will also see Google's Telusuri option at the bottom of the YouTube Telusuri. Google's Telusuri option will assist users in searching for wider browsing results.
SEE ALSO:
Google Lens integration on YouTube cannot record videos or add additional information to get more specific search results. This feature also cannot detect objects properly. Even though it has been launched, Google Lens integration has not been expanded to all accounts so that many YouTube users have not seen the feature. To use this feature, you need to wait until the feature is fully released.
