Nintendo Establishes Second US Retail Store In San Francisco

JAKARTA - After 20 years of focus with the only retail store in New York City, Nintendo will eventually set up a second retail store in the US. The retail shop will be set up at Union Square San Francisco in 2025.

So far, Nintendo has not provided more detailed information about what will be presented at its second retail store. The company only said they would bring the best experience in feeling the world of Nintendo.

"The official store at Union Square which is iconic in San Francisco (will) provide a way for many visitors from close to and far to experience the world of Nintendo, its products and characters," Nintendo wrote in its official broadcast.

Most likely, this second retail store is not much different from the first retail store of the game company. Nintendo's first store opened in New York City in 2005 and consists of two floors with various kinds of games.

This store not only offers games, but also merchandise, hardware, and Nintendo accessories on the first floor. Meanwhile, the second floor was used as an exhibition venue for all Nintendo consoles.

Nintendo also has a shop in its theme park, namely Super Nintendo World at Universal Studio Hollywood in California. In the theme park, Nintendo presents various iconic characters from the game he made.

Next year, Nintendo wants to expand its more than just a video game in other amusement parks. Super Nintendo World will open Universal Studio Orlando and will showcase the characters of Super Mario Land andten Kang Country.
