JAKARTA - Spotify is one of the music streaming platforms that can be listened to for free. However, there are many features that cannot be used, such as listening to song without boundaries and being free from ads. Although there are quite a lot of features that are not available for free users, Spotify now removes other features for users who don't subscribe. Some free Spotify users reportedly can't see song lyrics in the app. This is very bad news because many Spotify users like to see lyrics while listening to songs, either to memorize the lyrics or to understand the content of the song. Users also don't need to switch apps just to view the lyrics. Spotify doesn't announce the deletion of this feature clearly, but its users notice that the feature is missing. Reporting from TechCrunch, many Reddit users have complained that their free accounts can't see the lyrics. This problem has already been asked to Spotify, but the company doesn't provide a clear answer. Instead, they simply say that, " Spotify features can vary over time, intermarket, and inter-set."

The good news is that Spotify's spokesperson explained that the deletion of these lyrics is just a trial. There are still many free users who can see the lyrics without paying, but this only lasted until Spotify decided to remove its support. Spotify has also implemented a limit of looking at lyrics for users who don't want to subscribe since some time ago. Therefore, it's no wonder Spotify loses the ability to view song lyrics for free package users.
