JAKARTA - In the gemogeneous AI era, data privacy and security are the main concerns. According to a Harvard Business Review report entitled Why Data Breaches Spiked in 2023, throughout 2022-2023 data violations increased by 20 percent.

For this reason, Google provides new AI Security add-on for $10 per user, per month, which allows the IT team to automatically classify and protect sensitive files across the company on Google Drive.

This capability uses privacy-preserving AI models trained using your organization's unique data, enabling evaluation, classification, and continued protection of existing and new files on Drive, for all of your employees, including frontliner workers.

In addition, to help users keep data safe and make email Gmail the safest for businesses, Google expands DLP controls and classification labels to Gmail in beta.

The search giant also added experimental support for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) in joint client side encryption with Google partners, including Thales and Fortanix to help protect users' most sensitive data from quantum computer attacks.

Another upgrade will be in Workspace

Voice commands and instant dilution in Gmail: if you are traveling, you can use Help me write voice commands, thus a rough note will be a complete email with a single click.

New drafting elements and notifications in Sheets: Sheets' new table feature will do heavy work in shaping and arranging data with a slim design. Google also introduces automatic warning notifications based on specific triggers such as changes to the status.

Tab and personalization in Docs: Now with a tab, you can set the information in one document instead of linking to multiple documents or browsing Drive to find what you're looking for.

Increased member capacity and interoperability in Chat features: Increased member capacity to 500,000 in space will be publicly available in the coming weeks.
