JAKJARTA - Apple has reportedly increased production with foreign suppliers for the new iPad model and plans to launch it in early May, as reported by Bloomberg News citing people familiar with the matter.

Apple's original plan was to launch a new iPad in late March or early April, but it's still in the process of completing the software for the device, the report added.

The new iPad Pro model will be equipped with Apple's newest chip, M3, and will be equipped with a redesigned version of Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil. This update will be Apple's first renovation of the product line since 2018. The iPad Air will get a new processor and a 12.9-inch screen size.

But Apple has yet to provide a direct response to all those reports.

The iPhone maker announced on Tuesday 26 March that it will hold a Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) from June 10 to 14 amid reports that they are in talks for artificial intelligence partnerships (AI) and could reveal significant changes to iOS.
