Apple Acquires DarwinAI Startups To Develop AI Technology

JAKARTA Apple acquired DarwinAI, a start-up company in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). By acquiring the company, Apple wants to create a smaller and faster AI system. Based on the Bloomberg report, dozens of employees from the startup have been added to Apple's AI team. This employee transfer was carried out so that DarwinAI could assist Apple in operating AI directly on devices, not closed.DarwinAI has developed an AI technology that can visually examine components and make the AI system work in a more efficient way. Therefore, the acquisition of the AI system from the startup will benefit Apple. In addition to developing AI technology that is capable of working on devices, Apple is also developing AI technology for manufacturing and supply chain needs. The use of AI in iOS 18 is expected to be the biggest update made by Apple.
