JAKARTA MacPaw, an app developer on iOS and macOS, will launch an alternative digital store called Setapp Mobile. This app will offer a collection of apps for iOS devices.

The version of the Setapp Mobile application, which is still under development, will be launched in April, just as Apple allows sideload systems to comply with the Digital Market Act (DMA) in the European Union (EU).

Setapp Mobile is the first digital store to be present on iOS devices. This application will be free from advertising, not providing in-app purchase features, and providing an integrated and secure user experience.

MacPaw CEO and founder Oleksandr Kosovan said they would create a new and better application ecosystem. While this app may not be as good as the App Store, Setapp Mobile could be the best alternative for customers.

"We set a new path for the software industry towards a better and more diverse application ecosystem. This will offer customers more choices and better user experience overall," Kosovan said.

With the presence of an iOS version of Setapp, MacPaw promises to provide the best service. The app will offer software and tools that simplify workflow, trigger creativity, and strengthen user impacts.

"We are carefully compiling our collections, ensuring that every application, every feature, and every update is in line with our philosophy, namely meaningful efficiency," Kosovan explained.

When launched, Setapp Mobile will offer five categories of applications, including Productivity and Business Tools, Creative and Design Software, Lifestyle and Productivity, Utilities Apps, and Special Professional Equipment.
