Key Screen Access Feature On Google Keep Not Ready To Launch

JAKARTA Google Keep, a record-making service, continues to improve its features to become a default note application on Android. Currently, Google is working on key screen access features.

This feature was first seen by 9to5google in December last year. With the creation of the key screen access feature, users can access the Google Keep quickly. Later, the record-making icon will be added to the lock screen display.

This update can be seen in the Google Keep version 5.23, specifically for Android users 14 QPR2 Beta 2. To get the quick accessGoogle Keep system, users must enable the Lock Screen Notes feature via Settings within the application.

However, after the menu is activated, the key screen access feature cannot be used yet. Google will provide a message that reads, To create notes with Google Keep, download the latest version of the Play Store.

The message will remain visible even though the user has updated the Google Keep on their device. This happens because the key screen access feature is still being developed by Google and is not ready to be added to the app.

Unfortunately, the feature hasn't been added to the next update yet. Google has released version 5.24 and its features are still not available. The company said the feature was coming soon, but they did not make clear the launch time.

For now, developers using Android 14 QPR2 Beta still have to wait to use the key screen access feature. Although Android beta users have to wait a long time, ordinary users may be able to immediately feel the feature after Android 14 is launched.
