Apple Releases IOS 17.3, Presents Stole Device Protection And Collaborative Playlist Features

JAKARTA - Apple has launched an iOS 17.3 update, with a number of new features, including the Stolen Device Protection, Collaborative Playlist for Apple Music, and much more.

With the activated Stolen Device Protection feature, it will add additional security layers if someone steals your iPhone and gets your password.

Thus, if other people try to access passwords on iCloud keychain, turn off Lost mode, delete content, and make purchases at Safari, they will require biometric authentication with Face ID or Touch ID.

Furthermore, the Collaborative Playlist feature on Apple Music will allow you to be able to retrieve one of the existing playlists or create a new one and then invite others to join in adding songs and listening to the playlist.

"Now you can create and share playlists with friends and family! You can also react to songs with animated emojis," Apple wrote in its announcement.

This new update includes a new United wallpaper to honor Black history and culture as part of the Black Historical Moon

In addition, iOS 17.3 also presents a new wallpaper, called Unity Bloom, to all iPhones. According to Apple, the wallpaper will feature a outline of the flower that will be filled with color after the screen is active.

Other updates also support AirPlay hotels, which allow you to stream content directly to TV in your rooms at certain hotels.
