Telegram Launches One View Feature For Voice And Video Messages

JAKARTA - Telegram launched a new feature to its messaging app on mobile phones, which gives users more control over the messages they send.

The first feature is the ability to send voice messages and videos once. With this feature, voice messages and videos sent will only be viewed and listened to once.

So, when the recipient has opened the message, the message will be deleted automatically. Although it originally applies to photos only, the setting see once is now available for voice messages and videos.

Then, the second feature launched is Jeda and Continue Recording. With this feature, when recording voice messages or videos, you can pause and then continue recording later, so you don't need to start from scratch.

Telegram also said that they would bring more new features throughout January. So, look forward to the update in the future.

On the other hand, Telegram Founder Pavel Durov said the company had made some major improvements to video message recording on iOS.

"Now, you can enjoy clearer video quality, switch between front and rear cameras more quickly, reduce camera shocks, and have the ability to bridge and continue recording," Durov wrote.
