Google Presents Ability To Transmit TikTok Content To TV Screens

JAKARTA - Google announced an update for Chromecast that now allows users to be able to transmit TikTok content from phone to supported TV.

So, from now on you can transmit TikTok content, including live videos, from mobile phones and tablets to Chromecast with Google TV or TV dongles equipped with Chromecast, such as TCL QM8 TV or U8K ULED Hisense TV.

However, Google notes that the ability to transmit TikTok requires two compatible devices on the same WiFi network and the latest app updates.

In addition, Google also emphasizes where they will roll out this capability to more devices with built-in Chromecast, such as the 2024 LG TV series.

"And by the end of this year, we will expand the built-in Chromecast to LG Hospitality and Healthcare so that when you travel, you can continue to enjoy shows or movies from streaming apps on LG TV in your hotel room, without having to enter every app and have to remember to leave after completion," he added.

TikTok joins more than 3,000 supported mobile apps that allow you to stream live via Chromecast from Apple, Google, Samsung, as well as other compatible phones and tablets.
