Huawei Continues Digital Talent Development Program To Support Indonesia's Vision Of Gold 2045

JAKARTA - In collaboration with the Presidential Staff Office and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Huawei again held Indonesia Digital Talent Day 2023 at Tarumanegara University.

This event is not only to improve competence, but also to encourage the application of green technology principles in the ICT sector as well as the inclusiveness of digital technology as summarized in the Woman in Tech program.

According to Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Huawei's contribution as a government partner means a lot to the development of digital talent in Indonesia. "Collaboration between the government and Huawei can prepare the younger generation as the determinant of Indonesia's future," said Moeldoko, quoted on Friday, December 22.

On the other hand, Mr. Long, CEO of Huawei Indonesia emphasized that Huawei's contribution to the development of Indonesia's digital talent, which has been carried out since 23 years ago, will continue to be one of their sustainable agendas.

"Together with business partners and universities, Huawei has reached a new important milestone in fostering digital talent in Indonesia," Long added.

Until now, Long said that around 102 thousand digital talents had been fostered by Huawei. Huawei is also ready to make a bigger contribution to support the 2045 Golden Indonesia Vision.

Acting Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Nizam, said that Indonesia needs millions of young digital talents who will become a source of technological innovation in order to support the 2045 Golden Indonesia Vision.

Nizam also hopes that Huawei will participate in developing a research and development ecosystem in the field of digital technology.
