Varnion Increases Broadband Connectivity With Three Solutions From Nokia

JAKARTA Varnion Technology Semesta, an internet solution provider in the field of hospitality, will use three solutions from Nokia to modernize their roadband network.

The three solutions they will use are Altiplano Access Controller, fiber Lightspan MF platform, and Lightspan DF. All three will be used to convert power-based local network infrastructure (LAN) to PON-based.

By changing its network base, Varnion may benefit from automation and optimization ofights networks, increased management, flexibility, scalability, and much more.

The CEO of Varnion Technology Semesta, Alexander Budiman, said that Varnion believes in the solution offered by Nokia. Alexander also believes that the network base shift will increase satisfaction with Varnion customers.

"We decided to replace the old solution with Nokia's solution to ensure our future network infrastructure and improve the best roadband experience for our customers," Alexander said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Asia Pacific Network Infrastructure Regional Business Center Nokia, Sang Xulei, said that Nokia was very enthusiastic about this collaboration. Xulei ensured that Nokia would provide the best network support to Varnion.

The use of three Nokia solutions is part of a partnership for three years. So far, Nokia has supported Varnion in transforming their roadband experience for customers in more than 300 hotel networks, tourism centers, to entertainment centers.
