JAKARTA Google has updated the Pixel Buds Pro 5.9 after the Pixel 8 and Pixel Watch 2 were released. In this update, Google includes the Detection of Conversations and Hearing Health features.

The Conversation Detection feature can detect its users while speaking. When this happens, the audio is automatically paused and switched to Transparency Mode. However, when the user stops talking, the active noise (ANC) and audio cylinders being listened to will play again.

This state-of-the-art feature has taken advantage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) which is considered to make it easier for users. Pixel Buds users don't even have to bother stopping audio while talking.

To take advantage of this feature, users need to enable Conversation Detection first on the Voice Settings page. However, this feature can only be found when the latest version has been downloaded.

How to view the version is also easy. Users only need to open a preference page or application in the Pixel Buds Pro, then not any other Settings and click on Firmware Update. On this page, versions of the Pixel Buds Pro will be visible.

In addition to the Conversation Detection feature, this latest version also includes the Hearing Health feature. This feature can help users protect their auditory health by tracking volume and duration.

This feature will alert its users when the volume is turned on too high and too long. Hearing health will also advise users to rest for a while from using earbuds.
