JAKARTA - Microsoft launched the ability to make it easier for iOS users to access Bing Chat via widgets.

"We have launched a new Bing Chat widget that you can add to iOS," Microsoft said in its official blog, quoted on Saturday, June 17.

With the widget, users can embed the chat function directly into their main screen, providing easy access to Bing Chat without opening the app.

Initially this feature was only available on Android, but Microsoft has expanded its compatibility to iOS. However, this Bing Chat widget is still in the preview version, so there will be an incomplete function.

Furthermore, Microsoft is also working to increase the functionality of its voice chat and text-to-speech support.

The company also introduced language support for voice chats in Bing Chat with 38 additional languages.

The extended languages include Arabic, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech Republic, Denmark, Netherlands, Estonia, Philippines, Hindi, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Poland, Portuguese, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and many more.

Updates also improve the performance of voice input buttons in the app. Users can download the Bing Chat app for free on the App Store, which works with the iPhone and iPad running iOS 14 or later.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
