JAKARTA - Pinterest announced its latest partnership with Amazon Ads to deliver third-party ads on its platform. This deal was made due to the high engagement of users with shoppable content on Pinterest.

"The partnership with Amazon will bring more relevant brands and products to the platform combined with a seamless buying experience on Amazon for consumers and offering strong performance to advertisers," the company wrote in its official announcement, quoted Friday, April 28.

According to the company, more than 463 million people visit Pinterest each month to create a life they love.

“This milestone partnership will add to the great brands that are already on the platform and provide users with more comprehensiveness, easier shopping, and a best-in-class buying experience, along with better performance for brands and advertisers,” said Bill Ready, CEO of Pinterest.

In line with this goal, each user can now buy as many items as possible to fulfill their dreams. The partnership will also be a multi-quarter implementation, expected to start rolling out in 2023.

“Amazon Ads is excited to partner with Pinterest and make it easier for customers to discover and purchase relevant products through shoppable content, while providing differentiated value for brands.” says Paul Kotas, SVP, Amazon
