JAKARTA - The parent company of Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp, Meta, launched a new website called Rights Manager on Tuesday, January 24.
Based on the announcement shared, this website is dedicated solely to helping educate people on how to fight copyright infringement and protect legitimate expression on Facebook and Instagram.

"We are providing unprecedented transparency into the tools and policies we use to help copyright holders better control when, how, and where their content is shared on our services," Allen added.
Meta claims that the website will explain more about the many systems, policies, and procedures they use to protect legitimate content.

Over the years, Meta has built a robust intellectual property (IP) program that includes proactive actions, a global IP notification and removal team, dedicated reporting tools, and repeat infringer policies.
"The Rights Manager website reflects our dedication to this work and continued investment in tools and collaborative relationships to support rights holders," he said.
Meta is also continuing to work on expanding Rights Manager to more creators. Anyone with a Facebook Page can apply for access by visiting https://rightsmanager.fb.com/.
