JAKARTA - Twitter's new feature that helps users find out the number of impressions of their tweets has not been able to work in real-time.

A complaint from an account named @StrayDogNZ which states that the number of views on his tweet suddenly decreased when he left his tweet and returned in five minutes.

"I called that bullshit about Views. I quit this alt, came back 5 minutes later and suddenly it's 8 more views," he said while sharing a screenshot of his tweet while the view count was still at 10.

Then, in the next thread he also says that the whole system of this new feature is broken. He also shared a screen recording which shows the breakdown of this views feature.

"Lol, the whole Views system is broken. Tweets have more likes than views. Clicking View Tweet Activity throws up an error message," he further complained.

In response to these complaints, Twitter immediately jumped into the platform and also raised its voice. The company owned by Elon Musk said that currently it is not possible to calculate the number of impressions in real-time.

The social media service bearing the bird logo said the system still needed a few minutes to display the number of impressions accurately.

"The number of views on a new Tweet may take several minutes to display accurately, we are working on a live count as part of the next update," he explained.

Currently, Twitter claims to be checking the error message. They promise to improve the quality of their features and provide further updates, if any.
