JAKARTA – The G20 Summit, which took place on November 15-16, was in the spotlight of various groups. The center of attention is not only the meeting of the leaders of the world's largest economies but also the cars they use.

The cars used by the country's leaders are equipped with various advanced features and a capable security system. Since the head of state uses these cars for various state purposes, it is not surprising that the cars are equipped with high-level security systems, including bulletproof glass and armored bodies.

Even so, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, has actually prepared electric cars including the VVIP Genesis G80 Electrified specifically for the country's leaders. However, several countries still choose to use their respective official cars for certain reasons, including security.

The following is a list of cars used by the President at the G20 Bali Summit:

1. US President Joe Biden – Cadillac One (The Beast)

The Cadillac One is the official car of the United States of America. President Joe Biden uses the standard US presidential vehicle during the G20 summit. The Cadillac One car used by the US president is also often nicknamed The Beast because it is equipped with several secret specifications.

The Cadillac One or The Beast was built from the chassis of a GMC Top Kick truck thanks to direct orders from the Secret Service presidential security. According to the Hoctars report, The Beast is the president's safest and most terrifying vehicle. The Beast is equipped with a "Bond-Style" gadget that has various super-advanced protection features to protect the president in unexpected situations.

The Beast has a thick armored body covered in titanium, ceramic, and aluminum. While the thick glass is reported to be able to withstand gunfire, grenade explosions, and missile attacks.

2. Chinese President Xi Jinping – Hongqi N701

Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping chose to use the Hongqi N701 car. This car has a front that is equipped with a striped grille that is connected to the headlights. This car is also equipped with a high security and bulletproof system.

Even so, not many detailed specifications are known about the car that Xi Jinping is driving. The Hongqi N701 is a mysterious presidential car. Not many specifications are known to the public about the car.

3. President of France, Emmanuel Macron – Mercedes-Benz G-Class

Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron was seen using the Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV. This type of G-Class is a Mercedes car specially designed for heads of state, equipped with high security and protection systems. All the glass can be ensured bulletproof.

4. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak – Toyota Land Cruiser

Then, the new British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, was observed using a somewhat different vehicle, namely the Toyota Land Cruiser GXR. The Japanese-made car is equipped with bullet-proof protection on the body and glass. Interestingly, the fuel tank on this car is also coated with steel.

5. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau – Toyota Land Cruiser

7. President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan – Mercedes-Maybach S600 Guard

Furthermore, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was seen using a Mercedes-Maybach S600 Guard at the G20 Summit which took place in Bali. This Mercedes-Benz S600 is a car commonly used by heads of state with high protection and security systems. This car has received the highest ballistic protection certificate VR10.

8. Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida – Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard

Meanwhile, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida uses a Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard. This is a sedan car coated bulletproof and specially designed for the leaders of the country.

9. South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard

This German-made car has the ability to withstand gunfire, grenades, and automatic weapons. In addition, the Audi A8L Security is equipped with special tires that can still be used even if there is no air pressure.

14. Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong – Genesis G80

Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong used the electric car Genesis G80 Electrified. This is an electric vehicle provided by the Indonesian government to heads of state in partnership with Hyundai Motors Indonesia.
