JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz and Microsoft announced a new partnership on Wednesday, October 12 to use the Microsoft Cloud as a data platform intended to improve production efficiency at more than 30 passenger car factories globally. This collaboration was announced by Mercedes on Wednesday, October 12.

According to Mercedes, the data platform, called MO360, is currently available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and will also be launched in the United States and China.

The function of MO360 is to collect data from the entire production process from components to logistics to assembly lines to create virtual replicas that allow teams to identify potential bottlenecks in the supply chain more quickly.

The collaboration should lead to a 20% increase in vehicle production efficiency by 2025 from the previous level of 2022.

Through this partnership, Mercedes hopes to increase production efficiency and increase supply chain certainty at their factories for the next few years.
