JAKARTA - The presence of iOS 16 has become the talk of iPhone users for the past few days, especially since many slick features are present in this latest iOS version.

One of the most prominent changes in Apple's iOS 16 launch is the ability for users to personalize their Lock Screen with widgets.

Many developers have worked hard to prepare their applications to be ready and functioning properly on iOS 16, and Meta has become one of them.

Launching from TechCrunch, this week, Facebook released an app update by including support for iOS 16 such as the Lock Screen widget.

According to Twitter user @TamurAsad posts, when you want to add a Facebook widget, it seems that Meta gives you more choices, the first is "Birthday at a Glance" and the second is "Top Updates".

This widget will also be available as part of the Always active feature, exclusive to iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. So, you don't have to turn on the screen to find out what's going on on your profile.

To add a new widget, simply tap and hold the Lock Screen to open the Edit menu, then select the "Customize" button. From this editing mode, then tap on the row where you want to add or swap widgets.

After that, scroll to find the app you want to add, you can select Facebook, or you can slide it to see another widget. Once you make a choice, you have to close the Add Widget panel and tap Done to save your changes.
