JAKARTA - The Indonesian Internet Domain Name Manager (PANDI) held a Digital Resilience Conference and Expo (ID-RES) to support the realization of digital resilience in Indonesia.
With the theme "Creating Digital Resilience and Indonesian Internet Sovereignty", PANDI invited more than 30 speakers who are experts in the digital field as well as stakeholders in internet governance such as government, business people, students, registrar and MSME players.
"PANDI has always been committed to continuing to support digital resilience and internet sovereignty in Indonesia. The ID-RES activity which presents many expert speakers and involves MSME actors is also a gift from PANDI for Indonesia at the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia," said PANDI Chairman Yudho Giri Sucahyo quoted from Antara, Sunday, August 21.
Furthermore, Yudho explained, in this era of digitalization and globalization, digital resilience is very important to be maintained together by all elements of the government and society without exception.
According to Yudho, the influence of the digital world, especially the internet, is currently very much felt in everyday life. Through this ID-RES activity, PANDI is here to invite all elements of the government and society together to maintain and develop digital resilience.
"So that we can all continue to feel the positive benefits of the current digitalization era and avoid negative effects such as data theft, pornography, gambling, and others," said Yudho.
The ID-RES activity was held for 2 days on August 24-25, 2022 in Yogyakarta, with a conference involving expert resource persons, while the expo was attended by MSME actors and various competitions/competitions.
